Is Sellub free?
Yes — the Marketplace plan is completely free. Sellub takes a 5% commission on each sale; there are no monthly fees, signup fees or hidden charges.
If you want your own branded storefront, choose the Custom Domain plan (from GHS 250 / month) for lower commission. If you need programmatic access for an app or partner integration, choose the Commerce API plan (from GHS 500 / month) for the lowest commission. See Choosing a plan for the full breakdown.
How long does approval take?
24–48 hours for most applications. We email you with the result.
Can I have more than one plan?
You run one plan at a time per seller account, but you can layer add-ons (Featured listing, Performance ads, DuabaConnect) on top of any plan. Switch plans any time from Settings → Plan & pricing — there is no lock-in.
How do I get paid?
Customers pay via Paystack. Each sale is split automatically: your share lands in your linked Paystack subaccount (bank or Mobile Money) on the same transaction — no separate withdrawal step is required. See Getting paid.
When are funds available?
Your share is settled by Paystack on the same transaction the buyer pays. Mobile Money settlement is usually within minutes; bank settlement is typically 1 business day.
What happens if a customer asks for a refund?
Open the order → Refund. Choose which items, the refund amount, and whether to return items to stock. The customer is refunded via the original payment method within 1–3 business days. See Handling orders → Refunds.
Can I sell digital products?
Currently Sellub is optimised for physical goods. Digital products (downloads, services) are on the roadmap. Email support@sellub.com if you need this — we want to hear about your use case.
Can I import my products from another platform?
Bulk import is coming. For now, products are added manually via Products → Add New Product. If you have a large catalog (50+ products), contact support@sellub.com and we’ll help with a one-time import.
Can I have multiple staff on my account?
Currently one admin account per seller. Multi-user support is on the roadmap.
What if my custom domain verification fails?
Double-check the CNAME record at your DNS provider matches what we show you. DNS changes can take up to 48 h to propagate. If it still fails after 48 h, email support@sellub.com with your domain and we’ll help.
How do I cancel or downgrade my plan?
Settings → Plan & pricing → Change plan. Pick Marketplace to drop back to the free plan. Cancellation of a paid plan takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep access until then, and your data is preserved.
